I’ve been a couple of times already to the Netherlands and it never stops to amaze me. This time I’ve been to the beautiful town of Utrecht and the big Amsterdam. Utrecht is just the cutest thing ever, I would totally recommend it to anyone! It’s like a small and waay less busy Amsterdam, basically perfect!
Sono stata in Olanda un paio di volte e non smette mai di stupirmi! Questa volta sono stata nella bellissima cittadina di Utrecht e la grande Amsterdam. Utrecht è un gioiellino, la consiglio a chiunque! è come una piccola e moolto più calma Amsterdam, praticamente perfetta!
The Netherlands are famous for a lot of things, some really not as relevant to me than others (the stereotypes if you know what I mean). What I love about it is the architecture, the canals, every corner is a postcard, tulips, down to earth people, fries, food, Dutch pottery, and pottery!!!
L’Olanda è famosa per tante cose, alcune delle quali (gli stereotipi) non ci bado proprio e non mi interessano. Quello che amo dell’Olanda è l’architettura, le stupende casette, i canali, ogni angolo è da cartolina, i tulipani, la gente è rilassata, le patatine fritte, il cibo e le ceramiche!!!
The famous Dutch pottery is the one made in and around the city of Delft, so called Delft blue; this pottery is known for the white and blue colours and its decoration; it’s simply gorgeous. It’s made in the Netherlands since the 16th century, can you believe it?
Le famose ceramiche olandesi sono create nella città di Delft e nei dintorni. Nota a tutti come il blu di Delft, questa ceramica è caratterizzata dal colore blu e bianco e dalle sue stupende decorazioni. Pare che le origini risalgano al 16esimo secolo, ma vi rendete conto?
Knowing about the famous Dutch pottery, I thought (and hoped) to find a shop that sold Dutch pottery beads. Luckily I found one!!! If you follow me you will know that I have an Etsy shop where I make handmade jewelry, and that I have a special collection of Murano glass beads bracelets, necklace and earrings that I personally hand picked in Murano, Venice Italy, my home country. I thought that adding another special collection of jewelry using Dutch ceramic beads would have been amazing. I am so lucky to have found it!
Conoscendo questa famosa ceramica ho pensato (e sperato) che ci fossero dei negozi che vendessero perline fatte in ceramica olandese. Fortunatamente ne ho trovato uno!!! Se mi segui saprai che ho un negozio Etsy dove vendo gioielli che faccio a mano. Ho una collezione speciale di braccialetti, collane e orecchini fatti con perline in vetro di Murano che ho personalmente acquistato nell’isola di Murano a Venezia. Ho pensato che sarebbe stato stupendo aggiungere un’altra collezione speciale di gioielli creati con perline in ceramica olandese. Sono stata fortunata a trovarle!
