DIY Front Door Wreath – Fall

Hello everybody!!!

I am back in the USA! I visited my family in Italy for 2 weeks in August/September and now I am charged and full of ideas for new DIYs and projects.
One thing that I’ve noticed here in the US is that they prepare for holidays waaay in advance. For example, in August they started selling Halloween stuff in stores. This only means that very soon they will start selling Christmas things!!! I’m excited. But for now let’s focus on this new season. IT’S THE FIRST DAY OF AUTUMN/FALL!!! YAAAAYYYY I love fall: candles, colourful leaves, cozy blankets and pumpkins!
I wanted to decorate the house and give it a “fall” tone, so the first thing I did was giving a new look to my front door wreath! If you follow me you will know that I still have my summer wreath on the door. You can check it out here!

Sono tornata negli Stati Uniti! Sono stata in Italia per 2 settimane in Agosto/Settembre e ora sono ricaricata e piena di idee per nuovi lavoretti e progetti.
Una cosa che ho notato qui negli Stati Uniti è che la gente si prepara mooolto in anticipo per le feste. Per esempio, in Agosto hanno cominciato già a vendere di tutto per Halloween. Questo vuol dire che presto cominceranno a vendere cose natalizie!!! Non vedo l’ora. Ma per adesso pensiamo a questa nuova stagione. È IL PRIMO GIORNO DI AUTUNNO!!! YEEEE Adoro l’autunno: candele, foglie di tutti i colori, coperte e zucche!
Volevo decorare l’appartamento e dargli un tono autunnale, quindi la prima cosa che ho deciso di fare è stata dare un nuovo look alla ghirlanda sulla porta d’entrata! Se mi seguite qui sul blog saprete che ho ancora la ghirlanda che ho fatto quest’estate. Puoi darci un’occhiata qui!

So I headed to Hobby Lobby and got some fall “greenery”, an embroidery hoop and cute mini pumpkins with cones. Here is the material you will need to make this fall wreath:
Ho preso dei rami finti da Hobby Lobby, un cerchio in legno per il cucito, delle piccole zucche e pigne. Qua sotto il materiale che ti servirà per fare questa ghirlanda.

I used the “home” word from the summer wreath just in case you were wondering… Recycle!
Ho usato la parola “home” della ghirlanda estiva…ricicla!

Aren’t these beautiful?

I started by cutting the greenery and gluing it to the hoop. Always make sure you press enough so that everything is well glued and won’t fall once hung on the door.
Ho cominciato tagliando i rami finti e incollandoli al cerchio. Premete finché siete sicuri che siano incollati bene e che non cadano una volta appesa la ghirlanda.

Keep cutting and gluing the leaves however you prefer. I added different leaves to make a mix of everything.
Continua a tagliare e incollare le foglie come ti pare più bello. Ho aggiunto dei tipi diversi di foglie per fare un mix di tutto.

I then added some pinecones.
Poi ho aggiunto delle mini pigne.

And some mini (fake) pumpkins.
E delle mini zucche finte.

Keep adding items until you reached the result you desire.
Continua ad aggiungere elementi finché non raggiungi il risultato desiderato.

Using some fishing line add the wooden word. I like it not centred.
Con del filo trasparente aggiungi la scritta in legno. Mi piace che non sia centrata.
