Today I am going to decorate a tiny coffee mug! It’s an old one I don’t use anymore so I decided to repurpose it and turn it into a mini pot. I am sure that lots of you have old mugs so it’s time to recycle! This is also a great gift idea for Christmas. Super simple to make and of course super pretty!
Oggi ho deciso di decorare una tazzina da caffè! La mia è vecchia e non veniva usata quindi è diventata un piccolo vasetto. Sono sicura che molti di voi avranno delle tazze che non usate più quindi è ora di riciclare! Questa è anche una bella idea regalo per Natale. Super facile da fare e anche carina!

What you will need is:

Old coffee mug
Uni Posca markers or Sharpie *optional*

I say optional because if you don’t feel like decorating mugs just put a plant into the mug you have! Check out the last pictures of this post, you will see that I made a decorated mug and a not decorated one ☺️ In my opinion they both look fantastic. If you want to give it a personal touch the decorated one is perfect.

Uni Posca o Sharpie *facoltativo*

Dico facoltativo perché se non avete voglia di decorare la tazzina potete anche farne a meno! Se guardate le ultime foto di questo post vedrete che ho sia una tazzina che ho decorato, che una tazzina normale ☺️ A parer mio sono tutte e due simpatiche. Se vupo darci un tocco personale la decorazione a mano è perfetta.

1. All you have to do is start drawing what you feel like and make it as pretty as you can! As you can see I decided to doodle some flowers.
1. Tutto quello che devi fare è cominciare a decorare quello che ti pare. Come puoi vedere ho deciso di disegnare dei fiori.

When you’re done drawing bake the cup in the oven at 160°C /320F for 45 minutes (for Uni Posca markers), 120°C/250F for 2 hours (for Sharpies).
Quando hai finito di disegnare cucina in forno a 160°C per 45 minuti (per Uni Posca), 120°C per 2 ore (per Sharpie).

When it’s done baking put a small plant or cactus inside and you’re done!
Quando ha finito di cucinarsi mettici dentro una piantina o un piccolo cactus e voilà!
