Pom Pom & Yarn Hat Garland! 🎄

Hello everybody and welcome to Blogmas Day 10!

 

Today I am going to make a pom pom and mini yarn hat garland ! You will only need some yarn, scissors, a toilet paper roll and a big needle so let’s get started!
Oggi vi mostrerò come fare una decorazione con pom pom e un mini berretto di lana! Avrai bisogno di lana, forbici un rotolo di carta e un ago grande; cominciamo!

1. Start making as many pom poms as you want. If you don’t know how to make them follow this useful tutorial from vividplease.blogspot.com

2. Now we need to make the little yarn hat! It’s very popular on Pinterest and it’s really easy to make. Cut a segment of the toilet paper roll and about 40 pieces of yarn 8 inches long. Start putting the yarn on and wrap it around like in the picture.
2. Ora facciamo il berretto di lana! Questo si trova dappertutto su Pinterest ultimamente ed è facilissimo da fare. Taglia un cerchio di rotolo di carta e circa 40 fili di lana lunghi 20cm. Comincia a fare il berretto come nella foto: lega tutti i fili di lana.

Repeat this until you’ve covered the whole piece of paper roll.
Ripeti questo passaggio finché non hai coperto l’intero pezzo di rotolo di carta.

 

Now you need to untangle and brush the strings. Next: push that mass of string through the center and pull it out (gently) from the other side.
Adesso bisogna pettinare tutti i fili in modo che non ci siano nodi. Poi spingili tutti insieme dentro il buco e tirali fuori dall’altra parte.

3. Gather the yarn together and tie the bunch together using a string of a matching colour. You can make this with any colour you want. Using sharp scissors cut off the excess so that it looks like a pom pom.
3. Prendi insieme tutti i fili e legali insieme usando un altro filo di lana. 
Puoi farlo con qualsiasi colore tu voglia. Usando delle forbici appuntite, taglia gli eccessi e forma un pom pom.

4. Take the needle and insert a long string of yarn through all of the pom pom and hat(s) you made. Hang it wherever you like and you’re done!
4. Ora prendi l’ago e infila il filo di lana nei pom pom e berretti che hai fatto. Appendi e voilà!
