Wood Slice Christmas Banner 🎄☃️

Hello everyooone!

I have mentioned these wood slices before and if you follow me for quite some time you know that I was gonna make something else with these! So here we are and I am going to show you how I made this banner.

Ho già parlato in un vecchio post di questi dischetti di legno e se mi seguite da un po’ di tempo sapete che avrei fatto qualcosa di questo genere! E allora eccoci qua! Oggi vi mostro come ho fatto questa decorazione.

What you will need:

• Pyrography pen
• Wood slices
• Twine to hang it

Occorrente:

• Pirografo
• Dischetti di legno
• Spago per appendere

 

1. If you don’t have a pyrography pen you can use a normal marker. I found this at home and was curious about it. I decided to try it out and I just loved it soo much!!! It’s like writing with a huge pen, a bit uncomfortable but when you learn the basics it’s like an anti-stress 😂 So what you want to do is plug it in and wait until it’s hot as hell. After this, start drawing anything you want. I wanted to make a Christmas banner, but the word Christmas was kind of long so I went for Xmas instead.
1. Se non hai un pirografo puoi usare un pennarello normale. L’ho trovato in giro per casa ed ero curiosa, quindi l’ho provato ed è stato fenomenale. Sembra come scrivere con una penna gigante solo che è un po’ scomoda. Quando prendi la mano però diventa quasi un anti-stress 😂 Quindi, come prima cosa devi attaccarlo alla presa e aspettare che si scaldi, poi puoi disegnare quello che preferisci. Io volevo fare una specie di ghirlanda natalizia ma Christmas intero era un po’ lunghetto quindi ho optato per Xmas.

 

2. Now you need to make a hole on each slice so that you can hang them. To do this you will need a drill. (If you don’t want to use a drill you can glue the twine on the back of each wood slice)
2. Ora bisogna fare un buco in ogni dischetto per appenderli. Per fare questo ti servirà un trapano. (Se non vuoi usare un trapano puoi incollare lo spago dietro ogni dischetto)

 

3. Cut a piece of twine and tie it on the wood slices hiding the knot behind.
3. Taglia un pezzo di spago e legalo su ogni dischetto nascondendo il nodo dietro.

 

 

4. Cut a long piece of twine and tie all the wood slices to it, so that they don’t slide down.
4. Taglia un pezzo lungo di spago e legalo a tutti i dischetti in modo che non si muovano.
